Is topical GHK-Cu legal in 2026?
Yes. Topical GHK-Cu is sold legally as a cosmetic ingredient and is unaffected by the peptide compounding review. Cosmetic use is a different regulatory regime from injectable compounding.
Can I get topical GHK-Cu right now?
Yes — it is available as a topical. Note that this is not the same product as injectable GHK-Cu, which is a different regulatory question entirely and is not available.
Is topical GHK-Cu the same as the injectable form?
No, and the distinction matters. The topical is a legal cosmetic. The injectable is under a second PCAC review expected before the end of February 2027 and is education-only. Never treat a claim about one as a claim about the other.
What happens next for topical GHK-Cu?
Nothing pending. Cosmetic topical use is unaffected by the ongoing compounding rulemaking.

PCAC is advisory: its Jul 2026 recommendation leads to rulemaking, not instant availability. A favorable advisory vote is a recommendation, not FDA approval or authorization to compound. Realistic earliest legitimate access is late 2026 into 2027. Reclassification is not the same as FDA approval.
