CJC-1295: common questions
- Is CJC-1295 legal in 2026?
- No. And the reason is more restrictive than the one usually given. CJC-1295 is not in FDA compounding Category 2 — the nomination was withdrawn by the nominator, which puts it in FDA's withdrawn-nominations table and in no category at all. A substance in no category sits outside every FDA enforcement-discretion policy, which is a worse position than Category 2, not a better one. FDA did not re-evaluate it, and preserved its safety-risk description verbatim. It is not a molecule a licensed pharmacy can legitimately compound for you.
- Can I get CJC-1295 right now?
- No. CJC-1295 is education-only at Peptós.LIFE. Sites selling it are typically shipping under a "research use only, not for human consumption" label, which is not the same as a prescription from a licensed clinician. Compounded medications are prepared for an individual patient and are not FDA-approved.
- Was CJC-1295 part of the July 2026 PCAC review?
