CJC-1295: what it is, what the evidence says, and its real status

A growth-hormone-releasing peptide usually stacked with Ipamorelin, but non-compoundable in the US.

Short version: a popular GH-axis peptide the FDA placed in compounding Category 2 in 2023, non-compoundable. We can educate, never sell. The legal GH-axis route is Sermorelin.

Can you actually get it?

Plain-English verdict: Education only.

Regulatory status: FDA Category 2 (non-compoundable) · Education only.

Not available, and not on a path to be. CJC-1295 has been on FDA compounding Category 2 since September 2023, it cannot be legally compounded. We never list it as available; the legal GH-axis answer is Sermorelin.

How does CJC-1295 work?

A long-acting GHRH analog that stimulates pituitary growth-hormone release, often combined with a GH secretagogue like Ipamorelin.

What it does — and what it does not do

What it does: Studied as a GH-axis stimulator for recovery and body-composition interest.

What it does not do: It cannot be legally compounded in the US, and Peptós.LIFE does not offer it, it is education only.

How honest is the evidence?

Evidence grade C — modest human GHRH-analog data; long-acting (DAC) variants less characterized. Read our grading methodology for what each grade means.

What we still don't know: Long-term safety of the long-acting (DAC) form is poorly characterized in humans.

WADA status: Banned (S2).

How it is taken

Not offered; education only.

Who should not take it

Banned in tested sport (WADA S2); not compoundable in the US. Not a substitute for evaluated GH-axis care.
