Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making this site usable for everyone — where we stand, what we know isn't there yet, and how to reach us.
- We're working to make this site usable for everyone.
- Our target standard is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we're honest about where we are against it.
- Hit a barrier? Tell us and we'll help you and fix it.
1 · Our commitment & target standard
We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA and describe our conformance honestly.
We are committed to making peptos.life usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our target conformance standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We describe our status as partial conformance — we meet many of the standard's requirements and are actively working toward full conformance. We will not overclaim full conformance while work remains.
2 · What we've done
Keyboard navigation, color contrast, alternative text, semantic structure, and reduced-motion support.
- Keyboard navigation across interactive elements
- Color-contrast targets for text and essential UI
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Semantic HTML structure with real headings and landmarks
- Respect for the `prefers-reduced-motion` setting, so motion can be reduced
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard users
3 · Known limitations
We're honest about what isn't fully conformant yet — including some third-party embeds.
We know some areas don't yet fully conform:
- Third-party embeds — including the OpenLoop clinical intake and patient portal — may not fully meet our target standard. These are governed by their provider's accessibility practices.
- Some older content and documents may not yet meet every WCAG 2.1 AA criterion.
⚖️ Confirm OpenLoop's accessibility posture for the intake/portal embeds so this section reflects their actual conformance rather than an assumption.
4 · Feedback & assistance
Tell us about a barrier and we'll respond — and offer another way to get information or enroll.
If you encounter a barrier, contact us at accessibility@peptos.life. Tell us the page and the problem, and we'll work with you.
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within a reasonable time. If a barrier prevents you from getting information or completing enrollment, we will provide an alternative way to do so — contact us and we'll arrange it.
Confirm the published response-time commitment (e.g., a specific number of business days) with the team that monitors accessibility@.
5 · Third-party content
The clinical intake, checkout, and portal are hosted by OpenLoop and governed by their accessibility practices.
The clinical intake, checkout, and patient portal are hosted by OpenLoop and governed by OpenLoop's accessibility practices. If you have difficulty with any of these, contact us at accessibility@peptos.life and we'll assist.
