Research-grade vs human-grade

"Research use only" is doing a lot of work in that sentence.

Most peptides sold online ship under a "for research use only, not for human consumption" label. That one phrase lets a seller skip the manufacturing standards that exist to keep an injectable safe. Here's what that label is hiding.

Research-grade

"For research use only" product lacks cGMP certification for human therapeutic use. Using it in compounding invites regulatory and liability exposure, and hands the entire risk to you.

Human-grade

Human-grade material is produced in FDA-registered facilities under cGMP, with the controls that actually make an injectable safe:

  • Verified purity and endotoxin testing.
  • A valid Certificate of Analysis (COA).
  • Full material traceability and rigorous QC.

Purity is not safety

A vial can read "99% pure" on a home test and still carry endotoxins. Purity confirms what the molecule is; it says nothing about whether it's sterile.
