The community pairs them as “two layers of the same healing process”, one local, one systemic. That's a coherent narrative, not a proven synergy.
The part most sites skip is the part that matters most. Both compounds are evidence grade D: animal-dominant, with no placebo-controlled human efficacy trials, and zero combination-trial data on the stack itself.
In animal models, BPC-157 has shown effects on angiogenesis, growth-factor signaling, and tendon and gut healing; TB-500 has shown cell-migration and anti-inflammatory effects. The two are studied for overlapping parts of repair, which is the mechanistic basis for pairing them.
There are no human randomized controlled trials of the combination, and no completed phase 2/3 trials for either peptide alone for tissue repair. The synergy story is a hypothesis, not a proven result. People report benefit the science hasn't confirmed, and pairing two grade-D peptides doesn't double the evidence, it stacks two uncertainties.
